My fashionista

Pierce received a space shuttle and some books about space for Christmas. Once we finished reading the books, this conversation took place:

Madelyn: Can people really go into space?

Me: Yes, many people have gone into space.

Madelyn: Can girls go into space?

Me: Oh, yes. Women have gone into space.

Madelyn: What would I wear?

Me: You would need to wear a special space suit.

Madelyn (squealing in delight): Ooooohhhhhh, I would get a new outfit!

Me: Do you think it would be pretty?

Madelyn: I hope so. Do you think I could wear a space dress?

Me: Not so sure how that would work out in zero gravity, sweetie.

Madelyn: Huh?
