What did you do during the blizzard of 2009?

The following is a photo diary of our snowed-in weekend. It is picture intensive.

We

tried to get a decent picture of Isabel on her 3 month day,

tried to teach our two-year old how to take a decent picture,

shoveled snow off of our vehicles,

took pictures so we would remember how much snow we really got,

played in the snow,

fed a baby,

held a baby,

helped Daddy build a fire,

enjoyed some adult beverages,

let Isabel play with a new toy,

and opened Christmas presents a little early.

Depending on who you ask and where you measure, we got between 15 and 20 inches of snow. Mom and Dad arrived safely, before the storm started. We had a terrific weekend! It was so nice to not go anywhere. I'm thankful we didn't lose power and were all safe and warm. I'm also thankful for everyone who worked so hard to clear the roads (Billy!) and restore electricity to those without it. Mom and Dad left this morning to head back home, and they took the big kids with them. We'll head down on Wednesday and spend Christmas there.
