Last spring, we planted 50 strawberry plants in the flower bed in our backyard. They grew pretty well, but they only produced about 5 strawberries. This spring, however, they provided us with an abundance. We were able to pick 15-20 strawberries a day for about two weeks, and they were so good. Often, I would look outside and see Isabel with a handful/mouthful. The chipmunks and squirrels enjoyed them, too.

The strawberries are gone now, but our patch is thickening up. These plants reproduce like crazy! Hopefully, the next tenants will enjoy them as much as we have.
